Ants are one of the most important animals in the environment. They help break down organic waste which eventually turns back to nutrients that enter the soil. You could call them the dustman of the forest floor I was lucky enough to live in the country and spent hours watching ants move around, and was constantly amazed at what they could carry. Now you can see ants construct a new home from your home! The number of firms supplying ant farms are pretty small, and the best products are all shown here. Having searched high and low, the cheapest products are all on Amazon. Check out these first and then have a look yourself to double check.
Another pretty good product is one made by Insect Lore and for those on a budget offers excellent value, the cheapest in the market.
There has been a recent explosion in new products coming onto the market. This is one of newest I have seen and looks pretty good.
